When searching online for a coffee table I stumbled upon this one and thought it was perfect in terms of funtion and storage. In the picture the table appears to be a very dark brown, but the description clearly says "almost black" which concerned me as I did not want a black coffee table. I called in to customer service and spent a good 30 minutes on the phone with a rep while she researched it to ensure the proper color. She ensured me that the color in the picture was the true color and that they needed to actually changed to description to acurately depict that. So, I went ahead and ordered it. It took quite sometime to receive it, as it was on backorder for a while and shipping also took several weeks. The delivery company brought it into my home and left it in the box in the middle of the living room. Upon taking it out of the box, I was extremely disappointed to see that the table is BLACK. Not even ALMOST black, but truly black. I called the company to file a complaint immedietly and they talked me into keeping it by giving me a discount, but I am still not crazy about the fact that it is black as night.

Other than the color though, this is an amazing piece of furniture. I love the funtionality of it. The drawers are HUGE as the two large bottom ones go the entire width of the table. It also has two small drawers on either side that store quite a bit. When you lift the top up (which glides so easily and doesn't slam down) there is space for storage under there as well. It is a great piece of furniture (aside from my distaste for black) and I always receive compliments on it from guests.
